She is currently working on her own albums, driven by a desire to discover the beauty within these sounds while shaping her unique musical identity.

As a composer, Sohee has received recognition from several prestigious institutions. In 2022, she was selected as one of the five composers for the Royal Scottish National Orchestra’s Film Composers Lab. She was also named Korea's representative composer for the 49th Pan Music Festival, organised by the International Society of Contemporary Music in 2021.

A dedicated educator with a strong foundation in music theory, sight-reading and harmony, Sohee has taught more than 50 students in piano, music theory and composition. As an experienced piano accompanist, she has supported churches and choirs for over a decade, and has been performing with the Mixed-Up Chorus from Together Productions since 2024, deepening her engagement with community music.

Wow, it’s so beautiful! I think your work on the music has been such a huge inspiration and encouragement for me to keep working and pushing to make this film what I envision! - Noah Wolf, Maryland Institute College of Art

Working with Sohee was an incredible experience. Her exceptional talent as a composer truly shone through in her remarkable soundtrack for our film. Sohee's music played a pivotal role in heightening tension, amplifying the characters' emotions, and establishing an eerie and ominous tone from the first note, perfectly encapsulating and building on our vision. This experience truly showed me how powerful the combination of cinema and music can be; Sohee's soundtrack didn't just accompany the visuals; it enhanced and elevated them, creating a richer and more immersive storytelling experience. Sohee was incredibly collaborative and easy to work with, making the entire process a true pleasure, I look forward to hopefully working with her on future projects!  - Lucas Blaxall, Queen Mary university
